What technology does it use in its construction?
The Xynotal is available in a range of variation tailored to your use. The robust 6/110 TPI Downhill Casing, SuperSoft and Soft Compound combinations for the gravity focussed riders, through the mid-range, well balanced, 3/110 TPI Enduro Casing Soft Compound, to the lighter, more durable Endurance Compound, 3/60 TPI Trail Casing variations for racking up the all day singletrack miles.
What is the intended use?
The Xynotal from Continental has been developed to perform best on hardpack trail surfaces, in a range of conditions but biased toward the drier side. The angled, in-line shoulder studs deliver predictable and supportive control giving you the confidence to reach the limits in corners, whilst the pronounced ramps over the treads centre provide high grip and low rolling resistance on hard and loose over hard surfaces.
Our verdict
An incredibly fast tyre on offer from Continental, designed from the ground up to excel and offer predictable behaviour in drier conditions.
