What technology does it use in its construction?
Michelin's DH22 comes packed with some of Michelin's flagship World Cup technologies. Available as a standard Wire Bead, Tubeless Ready construction, utilizing a blend of the Magi-X-DH compound and Downhill Shield casing, grip and stabilty are delivered in huge volumes whilst remaining compliant. The 4 ply carcass feautures reinforcement to all areas, including Low Pressure Pinch Protection local to the Bead and sidewall and cross laid Bead to Bead Protection layers laid above a High Density Puncture Protection layer on the crown, resulting in and incredibly robust tyre, maximising control at lower pressures.
What is the intended use?
Designed exclusively for the gravity end of mountain biking, the DH22 has been optimised for soft/loose and mixed terrains, wet or dry, whilst a good level of grip is retained on hardpack and bike park surfaces. The most versatile DH specific tyre in Michelin range, performs impeccably ensuring good stud penetration and combining stability on harder ground. The aggressive tread pattern featuring a block design provides incredible cornering grip and maximum braking traction in all weathers, temperatures and at high speeds, competeing with some of the most popular DH tyres in the industry.

With Michelin firmly sat in the roster of the UCI World Cup, the downhill range is becoming more sought after and rightly so, with an incredibly versatile DH22 on offer, giving the rider all the advantage possible, between bike and the ground.
