What technology does it use in its construction?
Michelin's DH Mud takes the majority of technologies from Michelin's World Cup development riders. Available as a standard Wire Bead, Tubeless Ready construction with Cuttable Blocks, utilizing a blend of the Magi-X-DH compound and Downhill Shield casing, reinforced with Low Pressure Pinch Protection local to the Bead and sidewall and cross laid Bead to Bead Protection layers. With grip and stabilty delivered in huge volumes, the tyre remains compliant and incredibly robust, for maximum control in the worst conditions.
What is the intended use?
Optimised for downhill in the worst conditions - during your uplift days, trips to the Alps or national race series, the DH Mud is a tough and grippy contender, delivering the pinnacle of traction and braking grip in the wettest, steepest conditions. With Cuttable Blocks, this race ready rubber is full customisable, tailoring to your track conditions and style of riding, adding versatility and confidence.
