What technology does it use in its construction?
The Aggressor is available in the popular intermediate EXO casing suitable for most applications, and the heavier duty Double Down casing. The compound is the same "Dual Compound" across the range, which is a durable firm and fast rubber underneath, with a softer rubber on top. It is tubeless ready
What is the intended use?
The Aggressor is designed to perform best on modern hardpack all mountain and enduro trails. The shorter centre lugs give an almost semi slick feel when riding hardpack trails with the outside providing traction and support in corners.
Our verdict
The Maxxis Aggressor will work really well as a rear tyre with something a bit more grippy up front to keep the rolling resistance low but still providing braking traction and corner support when required. Or both front and back if the trails are fast, hardpack and relatively dry.
