What technology does it use in its construction?
Michelin's Force AM comes in a two options, both utilizing their Tubeless Ready, Trail Shield casing construction, featuring a Folding Bead and E-Bike Ready certification, aimed to protect against some of the most technical of All Mountain trails. The Performance Line variant comes with a Standard compound, aimed at training rides has increased longevity statistsics as a result of the 4x60TPI carcass. Whereas the 3x60TPI Competition Line features the triple comound Gum-X3D technology for unrivalled competition oriented performance.
What is the intended use?
Optimised for All Mountain and Trail disciplines, the Force AM performs better in across hardpack and mixed to soft terrains, better in dry conditions but more than capable in damper weathers when the dirt is prime. The Enduro World Series approved, aggressive tread pattern digs deep and encourages grip and braking stability, whilst providing exceptional rolling efficiency and durability.
Our verdict
An extremely diverse Trail tyre, suitable for front and rear use across All Mountain and light Enduro rides. The perfect Competition Line combination would have to be the Force AM on the rear, with the burly Wild AM up front, ready to tackle anything.
