Michelin Wild AM² (AM2) Tyre

New and improved grippy trail tyre, improved qualities on an already popular All Mountain & Trail model

Recommended Use: All Mountain/Trail Enduro

Description

What technology does it use in its construction?

The Wild AM² comes standard in Michelin's optimal blend of Gum-X dual compound, married to the Gravity Shield reinforced 3x60TPI carcass, providing grip, rolling speed and durability in abundance, through a consistent and encouraging construction. The Tubeless Ready, Folding Bead rubber is available in various widths across the most popular wheel sizes tailoring to your requirements.

What is the intended use?

Taking tread configuration qualities from Michelin's downhill DH22 and DH34 models, the Wild AM² boast grip and consistency from mixed to moderately muddy terrain, in a range of weathers. The burly Gravity Shield casing promises stiffness, protecction and stability on the hardest of trails, while the optimised blend of compound and tread pattern offer maximum penetration and traction. Perfect for soft terrain where grip is prioritised over rolling efficiency.

Our verdict

One of the most advanced tyres from Michelin, perfect for the toughest of All Mountain, Enduro terrain. Ideal for use on the front and rear, but for the perfect aggressive riding combination - this grippy, modern rubber is better on the front with the faster rolling Force AM² on the back end.
